About Us

Jay Jalaram CAD CAM is a jewellery design and manufacturing workshop located in the historic Manek Chowk district of Ahmedabad. We combine traditional jewellery-making skills with modern CAD/CAM technology to deliver precision-engineered pieces for retail clients, designers, and jewellery houses.

Established craftsmen, certified CAD technicians, and an in-house finishing studio allow us to offer end-to-end services from concept sketches to final hallmarked pieces.

Our Process

1. Consultation: Detailed brief and measurement collection either in-person or via video call.
2. Concept & Sketch: Hand sketches and mood-boards shared for initial approvals.
3. CAD Modelling: Accurate 3D model created; photoreal renders provided for design validation.
4. Prototype: 3D printed prototype for fit and look; client can request iterative changes.
5. Stone Setting & Casting: After approval, we cast and set stones using secure mechanical methods.
6. Finishing: Polishing, plating, engraving and final quality checks conducted by senior craftsmen.
7. Hallmarking & Delivery: Necessary hallmarking and certified documentation are prepared before handover.

By using our services or placing an order with Jay Jalaram CAD CAM, you accept the following terms and conditions. Read these carefully before confirming any order.

1. Agreement: These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the client and Jay Jalaram CAD CAM with respect to the services and products provided.
2. Order Confirmation: All custom orders must be confirmed in writing (email or signed estimate). Work begins only after receipt of required confirmation and any specified deposit.
3. Pricing & Payment: Quoted prices are based on current metal and gemstone rates. A non-refundable deposit (specified in the quotation) may be required. Final payment is due prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Design Changes & Revisions: Minor revisions during CAD stages are included as specified in the quotation. Significant changes after approval may incur additional charges and extended timelines.
5. Production Timing: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on design complexity, stock availability, and external services (e.g., hallmarking). We will communicate any delays promptly but are not liable for indirect losses due to late delivery.
6. Cancellation & Refunds: Custom orders may not be cancelled once production has commenced. Deposits are non-refundable once production starts. For cancellations prior to production, a handling fee may apply.
7. Intellectual Property: All designs, CAD files, renders, and images remain the intellectual property of Jay Jalaram CAD CAM unless otherwise agreed in writing. Clients may request licensed use or transferable rights subject to additional fees.
8. Quality & Inspection: We perform thorough quality checks. Clients must inspect goods at delivery and report visible defects within 7 days. Hidden defects should be reported within 30 days of receipt for evaluation.
9. Warranty & Liability: We offer a 6-month workmanship warranty covering manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover stone loss from misuse, accidental damage, reshaping, or normal wear. Liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the item value at our discretion.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution: These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through mediation; failing that, disputes will be resolved by courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
